A few reminders from my experience this weekend.
Early season remember to go slow and then go slower than that. It works.
For those of you fly fishing, remember to leave your lifting of the rod tip trout setting at home. Strip Set, Strip Set, Strip set. Practice when you hook weeds, as sometimes early season takes feel like you are passing through weeds and it's actually a soft take from a Northern or Smallmouth bass.
